It is perhaps the best visa point or mirador in all of Mexico with a view of a 'thousand peaks', now bypassed by faster flater routes to Guadalajara. Many a Mexican Presidente has taken in this view as his motorcade passed through the beautiful pine covered Michoacan mountains.
